Formed in 2020, SimpleDerby is a veteran owned, small business, that specializes in providing management software for fishing derbies. With years of experience in the derby world, both as organizers and participants, we’ve recognized the need for a fully customizable ticketing and database solution to simplify the logistics of hosting and running fishing derbies. SimpleDerby offers a fully customizable, one-stop-shop,  cloud based solution for hosting your fishing derby. Whether you have 5 participants, or 5,000, SimpleDerby’s saleable solution will allow you to check-in participants, weigh-in fish using a laptop, smart phone, or tablet, and provide a real-time leader board that can be displayed on a monitor or accessed by a mobile device any time, any where.

The process really is that SIMPLE. No more spreadsheets, notes, or multiple documents required to manage your derby! Just contact us, and once we receive your information, you will be contacted by one of our specialists to better understand your needs and get the specifics of your event, such as date, location, ticket types, etc. Then leave it to us to manage your derby using our proprietary software and sell tickets through our on-line ticketing system. Hosting Rates

SimpleDerby offers straight forward pricing. Host one event for $150 (additional customization fees may apply), and each consecutive event hosted within 365 days of the first purchase will receive a compounding 10% discount!

For example

First Event: $150

Second Event: $135

Third Event: $120

 All packages include consultation, demo of your derby before going live, and 24/7 tech support during your event. A $50 discount is available for all qualifying charities, non-profits, and 501c3 organizations. Events hosted using SimpleDerby software must be hosted within the first 365 days upon purchasing.

Be a participant

To participate in a SimpleDerby event, click the events button below. On the Events Page you can filter tournaments and derbies by state or by the type of fish! Once you purchase your ticket you will be emailed an electronic ticket that you can either print, or present it on your mobile device the day of the event. When you submit your catch for weigh-in, your ticket will also be scanned to link your information to your fish and it will automatically be loaded into the database. And, at anytime during the event, you can access our real-time leaderboard with your mobile device to check your standings!

The Everett Blackmouth Derby has been using the SimpleDerby leaderboard/derby administration program for several years now. Even though we use the basic program we did have a slight change that needed to be done at the last minute, and SimpleDerby's support team was quick to get it done. The overall program has been so easy for our derby staff to use. It sure beats the days of using spreadsheets to log all the data during an event. Very pleased with the product.
